1.3 Protection against damage through electrostatic
discharge
This unit contains electronic elements that react sensitively to electrostatic
discharges (ESD). Contact with persons or objects that are electro-statically
charged can endanger these components. In the worst case, they will be
immediately destroyed or will fail after commissioning.
Comply with the requirements of EN 100 015 - 1 to reduce or prevent the
possibility of damage through a sudden electrostatic discharge. Also ensure
that you never touch electronic components that are in the vicinity of an
electrical power supply.
