Improper handling of the ap-

■ The appliance must always
be disconnected from the
power supply if it is not su-
pervised and before assem-
bly, disassembly or clean-
ing.
■ Never place aluminium foil
or other objects in the ap-
pliance.
■ Never touch the hot surface
of the appliance during
operation. Only touch the
handle bar.

■ Bread may burn, therefore
do not use the appliance
near or below combustible
material, such as curtains.
■ Do not place the appliance on
the edge of the work surface.
■ Never place the appliance
on or near hot surfaces
(hotplates, etc.).
■ Ensure that the mains cord
does not come into contact
with hot parts.
■ Never expose the appliance
to high temperatures (heat-
ing, etc.) or weather condi-
tions (rain, etc.).
■ Never attempt to clean the
appliance by immersing it
in water, and do not use a
steam cleaner to clean it.
This could damage the ap-
pliance.
■ Do not put the appliance in
the dishwasher under any
circumstances.
