Storage
• Between uses, wrap the PARI SOLE N nebuliser in a clean, lint-free cloth and keep it
in a dry, dust-free place protected from contamination.
7.4.2 Sterilisation
• After cleaning/disinfection, pack the dismantled PARI SOLE N nebuliser (except the
PARI SOLE N base unit (7)) in sterilisation packaging (disposable sterilisation pack-
aging, e.g., foil/paper sterilisation bags).
The sterilisation packaging must conform to DIN EN 868/ ISO 11607 and be suitable
for steam sterilisation.
Then sterilise the nebuliser using the following sterilisation procedure:
Recommended procedure: Steam sterilisation
Sterilisation temperature: 121°C, max. 124°C
To be maintained for: at least 20 min.
This procedure has been validated according to DIN EN 554 / ISO 11134 as well as
DGKH guidelines for the validation and routine monitoring of sterilisation processes us-
ing damp heat for medical devices.
Storage
Keep the sterilised PARI SOLE N nebuliser in a dry, dust-free place protected from con-
tamination.
7.4.3 Care of the connection tubing
After each treatment, any condensation present in the transparent tubing must be re-
moved:
• Remove the PARI SOLE N base unit (7) downwards from the PARI SOLE N nebuliser.
Leave the connection tubing (10) or (11) attached to the PARI SOLE N base
unit so that the air line in the PARI SOLE N base unit is also blown dry.
• Switch your compressor on and leave it running until all condensation has been
removed by the air flowing through the tubing.
When changing patients, replace the connection tubing (part no. see Chapter 10 "Re-
placement parts and accessories"). If the inside of the connection tubing is contaminat-
ed, send the tubing and the PARI SOLE N base unit to PARI Service.
