Eindrehen der Schraube
mit Führungsdrahthalter
(optional)
Die uBase™ IS­Schraube
wird über den liegenden
Führungsdraht mit dem
Schraubendreher und mon­
tiertem Führungsdrahthalter
implantiert.
Sobald die Schraubenspitze
Kontakt zum Knochen hat
wird durch weiteres Eindre­
hen des Griffs (CS 3822­02)
am Gewindeelement (CS
3822­01) der Führungsdraht
geklemmt [1].
Wichtig: Während die IS­
Schraube eingedreht wird,
muss der Griff des Führungs­
drahthalters gehalten wer­
den, da er nicht mitgedreht
werden darf [2]. Dadurch
wird der Führungsdraht beim
Eindrehen der IS­Schraube in
Position gehalten [3].
Zum Lösen der festen Ver­
bindung zwischen Schrau­
bendreher und Schrauben­
kopf muss zunächst der
Führungsdraht durch Drehen
des Führungsdrahthalters
aus dem Griff herausgedreht
und anschließend nach hin­
ten herausgeführt werden.
Danach kann durch Drehen
am Rändelrad (Richtung
open) der Schraubenkopf
wieder freigegeben und der
Schraubendreher entfernt
werden. Gegebenenfalls
kann mit dem Schrauben­
dreher für IS­Schraube, ge­
schlossen (CS 7177­02 und
CS 7140) die IS­Schraube
an den Knochen herange­
schraubt werden. Am Ende
kann der Führungsdraht
entfernt werden.

The uBase™ IS screw is im­
planted via the guide wire in
place using the screwdriver
and mounted guide wire
holder.
As soon as the tip of the
screw comes into contact
with bone, the guide wire is
connected to the threaded
element (CS 3822­01) by
screwing in the handle (CS
3822­02) further [1].
Important: While the IS
screw is screwed in, the
handle of the guide wire
holder must be held since it
should not simultaneously be
rotated [2]. In this way, the
guide wire is held in position
while the IS screw is screwed
in [3].
To release the tight connec­
tion between the screwdriver
and the screw head, the
guide wire must initially be
unscrewed out of the handle
by rotating the guide wire
holder and then guided out
back. Thereafter, the screw
head can be released once
again by rotating the thumb
wheel ("open" direction)
and the screwdriver can be
removed. If necessary, the IS
screw can be screwed in on
the bone using the screw­
driver for IS screw, closed
(CS 7177­02 and CS 7140).
At the end, the guide wire
can be removed.
