13.6. Replacing expansion
cylinder DM63
DANGER!
Risk of injury from high pressure in the system!
• Turn off the pressure and vent the lines before loosening lines
or valves.
Removing the expansion cylinder:
First of all remove the pneumatic control on the top end of the
expansion cylinder as described below.

Press the lock ring in the
direction of the fitting and
simultaneously pull the hose
out of the fitting.

Unscrew the expansion
cylinder from the screw con-
nection on the T-fitting using
an open-end wrench.
Installation of the new expansion cylinder:
→
Before the installation, remove any old seal residues from the
internal thread into which the expansion cylinder is going to be
screwed.
→
Fit the cleaned internal thread with new seals.
→
Screw the expansion cylinder to the T-fitting using an open-end
wrench.
→
Push the plug-in hose for the pneumatic control back into the
fitting.
