– Use the appliance only for the uses intend-
ed by the manufacturer. Improper use of the
equipment could result in risks to the safe-
ty and health of people, damage to nearby
goods and fi nancial losses.
INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS FOR USE AND OPERATION
NOTE: Carefully read the hazards
mentioned in section "Hazards and safety
provisions during use" on page 8.
ATTENTION: Besides being autho-
rised and appropriately documented, and
if necessary, instructed and trained, on fi rst
usage, users shall simulate several opera-
tions to identify the controls and main func-
tions.
WARNING: Use only as intended by
the manufacturer and never tamper with
any device to obtain performance levels
outside the rated specifi cations.
ATTENTION: Before use, check that
the safety devices are properly installed and
in good working order.
ATTENTION: As well as taking care
to meet these requirements, users should
also implement all safety regulations and
read the description of the controls and the
start-up procedure carefully.
WARNING: The fl oor near the appli-
ance could be slippery.
WARNING: Do not obstruct the fl ue
to prevent the temperature of the combus-
tion components and products from increas-
ing excessively over the admissible limits.
WARNING:Remove and empty the
drip tray gradually to prevent scalding due
to the high temperature of fats.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
– All maintenance work requiring specifi c tech-
nical expertise or particular skills or qualifi ca-
tions provided by the law must be carried out
by suitably trained and/or qualifi ed staff and
in any case with recognised experience ac-
quired in the specifi c sector of operation.
To ensure correct use of the appliance, the fol-
lowing rules should be adopted.
– The constant presence of the operator is re-
quired during routine use of the appliance.
– Do not leave fl ammable objects or materials
inside or close to the appliance.
– Use only the accessories recommended by
the Manufacturer.
– Never use the appliance for frying in large
amounts of oil.
– Never use the appliance to heat pots and
pans as this will damage the surface of the
cooking plate.
– Never use the appliance for cooking frozen
foods, since the temperature diff erence might
damage the surface of the cooking plate (for
chromium-plated and compound plates
only).
– Take care not to scratch or chip the surface of
the plate, to ensure maintenance of its char-
acteristics and hygienic cooking.
– Use only metal tools for moving or remov-
ing foods on the cooking plate (for chromi-
um-plated and compound plates only).
– Always keep the appliance and the surround-
ing areas clean.
– When cleaning, use only food-approved de-
tergents.
– Frequently check the level of fats in the drip
tray and empty it when it has reached the
maximum level.
