4.9 The fridge

The cooling compartment is not intended for storing food for a
longer period of time. So, use the cooling compartment for short-
term storage only. Different tem-perature areas due to the air
circulation occur in the appliance. Use these different temperature
areas to store different kinds of food.

Store covered or packaged food in the appliance only so the
smell or taste of the food will not diffuse. The following materials
are suitable for proper packaging:

Food safe cling film / airtight bags and aluminium foil.
❖ Food safe covering hoods.
Food safe containers made of plastic / glass / ceramics.

Store fresh, packaged food on the shelves, fresh fruit and

vegetable in the crisper. Store fresh meat packaged in protective

foil for max. 2 days.

Food from wheat flour, milk etc. The shelves are removable
for cleaning. Adjust the shelves relevant to your needs.
