WARNING:
Always unplug the appliance, let the appliance cool down com-
pletely, and clean the appliance and all its parts before storing. (See: 'Care and
Cleaning').
Ensure to store the appliance where it is clean, dry and safe from frost, direct sunlight
and inadmissible strain (mechanical or electric shock, heat, moisture) and where it
is out of reach of young children. Place the appliance on a clean and stable
surface, where it can not fall. Do not place any hard or heavy objects on or in the
appliance or on the power cord.
For moving, always grasp the appliance by the handles at both sides. DO NOT
hold the appliance by the lid, lid knob, lid arm, or power cord. Always handle the
power cord with care. Power cords may never be knotted, twisted, pulled, strained
or squeezed.
Do not use any accessories of the appliance (e.g. cooking pot, trivet, steaming tray,
or power cord) for any other purpose than operating the appliance. Always store
the parts and accessories of the appliance with the appliance.
1. Ensure the appliance is switched OFF (hold the STOP/CANCEL button pressed
until the control panel gets dark). Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
Allow the appliance and all accessories to cool completely before disassembling
and cleaning.
2. Clean the appliance and all its parts (see: 'Care and Cleaning').
3. Insert the cooking pot, trivet, and steaming tray into the appliance. Lay the
power cord and measuring jug into the steaming tray.
4. To move the appliance, grasp the handles at both sides. Place the appliance
in an upright position, standing level on its legs on a stable, dry surface where
it can not fall, and is out of reach of young children. Do not place any hard or
heavy objects on or in the appliance.
Hinweis:
If you wish to store the appliance for a longer period of time, you should leave the
lid open slightly to avoid the build-up of odours. For this, place a folded up, soft,
and clean cloth under the brim of the lid.
