Installation with knuckle eyes
Installation and locking with initial stress (recommended mounting vari
ant)
1. Rotate the locknut back to the eye.
2. Screw the knuckle eye completely into the transducer.
3. Unscrew the knuckle eye 1 to 2 threads and align.
4. Load the transducer with 110% of the force that will occur during subse
quent operation in the tensile direction.
5. Tighten the locknut by hand.
6. Relieve the transducer.
Installation and locking with torque
1. Rotate the locknut back to the eye.
2. Screw the knuckle eye completely into the transducer.
3. Align the knuckle eye.
4. Tighten the locknut with a torque of 15 Nm.
NOTE
When locking, the tightening torque must not be shunted through the trans
ducer.
