10 Troubleshooting and diagnosis options
Since no differentiated error causes can be indicated via the LED displays, the diagnostic options in
the two possible configurations should be used:

PNO Encoder Profile: chapter "Warnings, errors, diagnosis" on page 144

TR Encoder Profile: chapter "TR-Module Status and Control" on page 159 and
chapter "PROFINET diagnosis alarm" on page 161
10.1 Optical displays
The position and assignment of the LEDs can be found in the accompanying pin assignment, for
display states and flashing frequency, see chapter Bus status display on page 105.

Solution
- Check power supply, wiring
- Is the voltage supply in the permissible
range?
Check wiring and connector position
- Switch supply voltage off and then on
again. If this measure is unsuccessful,
the measuring system must be
replaced.
- The transmitted preset value must be
within the programmed measuring
range. The error is deleted on
transmission of a valid preset value.
