6 Operation

Mixer unit

1) Prior to the first switching on the subwoofer, turn down the SAT and SUB level controls to the left stop
position to avoid a high volume at the beginning.
2) First switch on the connected audio sources, then switch on the subwoofer. The POWER indicator lights
up.
3) Adjust the desired volume for the subwoofer with the SUB control and for the satellite speakers with the
SAT level control. The CLIP indicator lights up when the signal level is too high. Reduce the volume until
the LED does not light anymore, or only at signal peaks.
4) It is possible to select various equalizer presets with the DSP PRESETS switch: FLAT = frequency
response is not affected, DJ = increased presence and bass, LIVE = low and high frequency boost.
5) Adjust the desired volume ratio of the signal sources with the level controls in channel 1-4. Turn the
controls of the inputs not used to zero.
6) Adjust the desired sound of the mono channels CH 1-3 with the tone controls. By adjusting the tone
controls, the high frequencies (control HI) and the low frequencies (control LO) can be boosted or
attenuated. With the controls in mid-position, the frequency response is not affected.
7) An echo effect created via the integrated effect processor can be added to the mono channels CH 1-3.
Adjust the effect intensity with the FX control.
8) After operation, set the SAT and SUB level controls to the left stop position, then switch off the
subwoofer with the power switch. The power indicator goes out.

Setting up a Bluetooth connection with mobile devices

1) Activate the Bluetooth receiver by pressing the PAIR switch. The status indicator starts flashing and the
unit will enter pairing mode.
2) Activate the Bluetooth function at the Bluetooth source and start the device scan. Select "OMNITRONIC
PEN ONE" from the list and connect the devices (status indicator lights solid).
3) Now play music at the Bluetooth source as you normally would and the sound will come out of the
speaker systems. Mix the Bluetooth signal to the master signal using the level control in channel 4.
4) For decoupling the devices and thus switching off the Bluetooth receiver, press the PAIR button once
again.

Setting up a Bluetooth Link between two PEN ONE

The integrated TWS (True Wireless Stereo) function allows two PA systems to be paired via Bluetooth. The
left and right audio channels are played back separately and without delay in stereo via both PA systems.
1) Pair the Bluetooth source with the first PA system as described before.
2) Press the TWS button on the first PA system, the press the PAIR button on the second PA system. The
sound will come out of both PA systems in stereo.
