When using products containing glucoprotamin (such as INCIDIN PLUS), the O-rings of

converted for EPDM (conversion kit article no. 202411, EBS no. on request).
ATTENTION
When using products that do not contain glucoprotamin, we recommend that you
convert the O-rings of the metering pump piston and piston rod and the O-rings of the
flow monitor for silicone (conversion kit Article no. 202408, EBS no. on request).
When using a conversion kit, the provided sticker must be attached to the metering unit
in a visible position. A separate list of recommended product / O-ring assignments is
enclosed with the unit.
The
DG 3
unit is solely designed, developed and constructed for industrial and commercial
use. The system is not intended for private use.
Use as intended also includes compliance with the control and operating instructions
prescribed by the manufacturer, as well as with the maintenance and servicing conditions.
The service life of the metering unit is approximately 10 years, provided the system is
properly maintained. It then needs to be inspected (followed by a general overhaul, if
necessary) by the manufacturer or by a specialist firm.
2.3
General safety information
• Any connection and repair work on the

may only be operated with a supply voltage of 230 V AC.
• It is imperative that all work on electrical parts is undertaken with the mains plug
unplugged.
• When changing the disinfectant canister, the warning and safety information on the
original disinfectant canister must be observed.
• Suitable protective clothing must be worn during maintenance and repair work.
• Safety regulations covering the handling of chemicals must always be observed.
We recommend tapping a minimum quantity of 10 l of solution if the unit has been out of
service for 24 hours or more.
IMPORTANT
This tapped solution may not be used for disinfection.
In this regard, also refer to the hygienic flush function in the section on
Flush".
