 Make sure that the cable diameter of the connection cables matches the nominal

 Observe tightening torques.

 Observe the insulating capacity and separation distances between intrinsically safe

 Only use stopping plugs that have an EC type-examination certificate or

 Tighten the hexagon nuts of the cable entries with the tightening torques firmly so

EN
 Install the connection lines in such a way that the permissible minimum bending
EN
EN
EN
 Make sure that there is sufficient equipotential bonding between the grounding
EN
 Tighten the cover of the enclosure with a tightening torque of 4.5 Nm.

EN • Connection thread: 2.3 Nm

7 Commissioning
EN
Before commissioning, carry out the following checks:
EN
 Check the enclosure for damage.
 Check that the mounting and installation have been performed correctly.
EN
When doing so, check whether all coverings and partitions for live components have been
EN
installed and fastened.
 Make sure that all openings/drilled holes in the enclosure are sealed with permissible
components. Dust and transport protection (adhesive tape or plastic caps) fitted at the
factory must be replaced with certified components.
 Make sure that the seals and sealing systems are clean and undamaged.
 Remove any foreign objects.
 If necessary, clean the connection chamber.
 Monitor whether the cables have been inserted correctly.
 Monitor whether all screws and nuts have been tightened firmly.
 Monitor whether all cable entries and stopping plugs have been tightened firmly.
 Monitor whether all conductors have been clamped firmly.
 Check whether all the specified tightening torques have been observed.
