Inserting/Replacing the Batteries

1. The battery compartment is located at the rear of the
device. Depress the latch of the rear cover and remove
it to access the battery.
2. Insert a new 1.5 V batteries of the type LR6 (AA) into
the battery compartment. Pay attention to the proper
polarity of the batteries. The polarity is printed inside the
battery compartment.
3. Replace and close the rear cover.
To maintain precise operation of the clock replace the
battery once a year.

Synchronisation to the DCF Time Signal

The clock will automatically synchronise with the time
signal after the batteries have been inserted. This process
may take several minutes, the clock will first set to
12 o'clock and then to the current time.
You can also force the synchronisation manually. To do
so, press and hold the signal search key WAVE on the
clockwork for 3 seconds with a pointed object (do not use
a pencil) to manually receive the radio time signal. After
successfully receiving the time signal, the clock will adjust
to the current time. This process may take several
minutes.
