4. After a short self test of the display, you hear a
melody which signals that the unit just has been
turned on. Press any key to turn off that melody.
5. Before first use, the local time, date and the alarm
times have to be set.

EXCHANGING THE BATTERY

Replace the battery if the display gets weaker or if the
clock runs inaccurately.
1. Move out the keypad. The battery compartment is
located on the underside of the keypad.
2. Use a suitable cross headed screwdriver to open the
battery compartment lid.
3. Insert a new 3 V battery of the type CR2025 into the
battery compartment. Pay attention to the proper
polarity of the battery. The plus pole has to face out of
the device.
4. Close the battery compartment with the lid.
5. After inserting the new battery, you hear a melody
which signals that the unit just has been turned on.
Press any key to turn off that melody.
6. When changing the battery, the internal memory of
the device is reset. The current time and the alarm
time have to be set again.
