Changing the batteries

If the display becomes faint or the clock runs erratically, the batteries
must be replaced. Slide the lid backwards and replace the batteries
within one minute, otherwise the memory will be completely deleted.
Insert two fresh batteries of the type R03 1.5 V (AAA) into the battery
compartment. Please observe correct polarity.

General Hints

If the unit exhibits strange behaviour or does not function as usual
although fresh batteries has been inserted, you can reset the unit by
doing as follows:
Inset a spiky item (not a pencil) into the RESET opening. Please note
that all values in the memory are reseted.
Batteries do not belong in household
garbage.
