Please note the following safety advice to avoid malfunction,
damage and physical injury:
Do not leave packaging materials in the range of children. Plastic
bags etc. may become dangerous toys for small children. Keep
the unit out of the range of children; it contains small parts which
might be swallowed.
Batteries must not be recharged, disassembled, and short
circuited or burned. If you do not intend to use the unit for ex-
tended amounts of time, remove the batteries. Spend batteries
should also be removed immediately.
Use the unit only indoors or in places protected from moisture. Do
not expose the unit to excessive temperatures, strong vibration or
excessive humidity.
Avoid exposing the unit to mechanical stress.
Do not use abrasives or aggressive chemicals to clean the unit. Use
a moist cloth at the utmost. If the LC-Display discolours under pres-
sure, this is no reason for concern. The discoloration will disappear
after some time.
Do not disassemble the unit; it does not contain parts serviceable
by you.
In the case of questions or problems, please turn to our customer
support. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
