Please note the following notes to avoid malfunctions, damage
and injuries:
Read this manual carefully and use the iron only according to this manual.
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of
children or persons in need of supervision. Be careful to keep children from
pulling on the power cord while the iron is in use.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Operate the iron with the same amount of decalcified water and tap water. For
operating the unit, use water only. Do not fill any additives into the water tank.
Do not immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
Never yank the cord to disconnect from an outlet. Only grasp the plug and pull
to disconnect.
Do not allow the cord to touch any hot surfaces.
Let the iron cool down completely before storing.
Always disconnect the iron from the outlet when filling with water or emptying
or while not in use.
Do not operate the iron if the power cord or the appliance itself has been
damaged.
Do not leave the iron sitting on the sole while it is switched on. Always pull the
power plug white the iron is not in use.
Should the appliance become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble
the appliance or try repairing it yourself.
