with strong magnetic fields such as e.g. mobile phones,
walkie-talkies, electric engines etc.
These devices might affect the image quality.
Direct sunlight or bright illumination might affect the
camera images and make it difficult to watch the
images.
Take this into consideration when choosing a
place of installation.
Look for a suitable place to be observed by means of the
camera.
The recommended height of installation of the camera
objective (2) is approx. 1.8 m.
The height of installa-
tion depends on the
object to be observed.
Before installation, connect the camera and
check the respective camera image at the moni-
tor/TV in order to verify if the area to be observed
is indicated. Proceed as described under "Con-
nection" (next chapter).

Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the camera and
the connected power source e.g. for damages of the
connecting cables and the housing.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation has
become impossible, the product and the mains unit
must be put out of operation and secured against unin-
tended operation. Disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket!
It can be presumed that safe operation is no longer pos-
sible, if:
• the camera or the connecting cables of mains units
show visible damages
• the camera or connected mains units no longer work
• the product was stored under unfavourable condi-
tions for a long period of time
• it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by
transport.
In case of failures, mains units might deliver voltages of
more than 50 VDC which might involve dangers, even if
the output voltage of the mains unit is lower.
