9. Connection and Getting Started


Depending on which devices you have and which connections you wish to use, there are multiple
connecting options. Additional connecting cables may be necessary to operate the devices at the TV-
Box.
The TV-Box works only with analog signals. This means that e.g. a TFT monitor must have an analog
VGA input or a graphic card must have an analog VGA output. Use the corresponding cables.
It is not possible to reproduce a digital audio signal or to connect it through the TV-Box.
Example: Connection to a computer and analog aerial signal:
Open the battery compartment of the IR remote control and insert two batteries (AAA) with the correct polarity (pay
attention to plus /+ and minus/-). Close the battery compartment.
Connect the TV-Box to your devices.

Last connect the power adapter of the TV-Box. Insert the low-voltage plug into the jack on the TV-Box,
then plug the power adapter into a functioning socket outlet (230V~/50Hz).
Set up the product so that the IR receiver (1) faces to the front to your position.
Keep a distance of 5 cm to other devices for heat dissipation, this applies to the TV-Box and to the power
adapter.
Switch on the TV-Box at the push-button (13) or the corresponding button on the remote control (I).
