5. Safety Instructions and Dangers

In case of any damages caused by failure to observe these operating instructions, the
guarantee will expire! We do not assume any liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused by improper use
or the failure to observe the safety instructions! The guarantee will expire in any such case.
Dear customer!
The safety instructions and danger warnings below are not only for the protection of the device but also to protect
your well being. Please read carefully through the following points:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons (CE). Do not open/disassemble it! There are no parts on the inside that need to be adjusted or maintained
by you.
Maintenance, setting jobs or repairs may only be carried out by a specialist/specialised workshop.
• The product is intended for use in dry indoor rooms, it must not get damp or wet! Do not expose the device to
moisture such as in bathrooms or similar rooms. This would not only destroy the product but it also involves the
danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children! The product contains small parts and batteries.
Install the product out of the reach of children. Children cannot assess the dangers involved in handling electric
devices.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous for children!
• Use the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical climate.
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during transport) condensation may form. This
could damage the product. The mains adapter also involves the risk of a lethal electric shock!
Therefore, you should allow the product to warm up to room temperature before using it or connecting the mains
adapter to a socket outlet. This can sometimes take several hours.
• Handle the product with care and do not drop it; knocks, blows or even a fall from a low height can damage it.
• The power adapter is designed for safety class II.
