You can operate your radio signal door chime with two C-size batteries or with a suitable direct
current source.
Coding
• Open the battery compartment by pushing its cover
downward.
• Use the DIP switches (13) to set the same code as the
one on the transmitter.
Operation with batteries
• Insert the 2 C-size batteries, making certain the polarity
is correct. For the correct polarity, please refer to the
illustration in the battery tray.
• Slide the cover back on the battery compartment.
Replace the batteries if the transmission perfor-
mance starts to decrease or if the transmitter is no longer working, but in any case at
least once a year.
Remove the batteries from the device if you will not be using it for a long time
or if it is being supplied with a source of direct current.

• In choosing the location to set up your radio signal door chime, note that direct intense sun-
light, vibrations, dust, heat, cold, and moisture (direct rain, snow, or ice) must be avoided.
• The device must not be set up in the vicinity of other devices with strong magnetic fields.
The radio-signal doorbell should not be placed in the vicinity of devices with strong electrical
fields, such as cell phones, radio sets and electrical motors.
Metal surfaces can also interfere with the propagation of radio signals.
Steel concrete walls and proximity to strong electrical or electromagnetic fields such as
those that occur with electromotors, radio systems, etc. also have the effect of reducing the
range.
Do not place radio signal doorbells directly on electronic devices (for example television sets,
video recorders, etc.).
These could have a negative effect on functionality or the range.
• Given the enormous number of paints and polishes used for furniture, we cannot exclude the
possibility that the base of the device might leave visible residues on the furniture it is placed
on caused by a chemical reaction.
For this reason, protect the furniture surface appropriately when placing the device on
valuable furniture.
• Always place the device on a stable base.
This will ensure that it does not fall off and cause injury.
Only a 12 V battery should be used as the power source for the transmitter.
Either a direct current power source of from 6 to 12 V with at least 200 mA or
two C-size batteries should be used for the receiver. Never try to operate the
radio signal doorbell using any other voltage.
Never overload the direct voltage source.
