Handle rods

Stick the U-shaped tube (7) onto the two tubes which protrude from the engine
housing. The tube is connected by means of the M5 screws (11) to the main
device. Only the handle rod can be mounted to the U-shaped tube. However,
before doing this, the cable strain relief (5) must be pushed onto the handle
rod. For mounting the handle rod, use the M8 screws (8) with wing nut. Hold
the screw in such a way that the wing nut is on the inside.

Switch installation

On the right-hand of the handle rod are two holes. The switch (2) is connected
to them. (See figure 1). For attaching the switch, use both crosshead screws
(9) with wood thread.

Connection

Connect the device to an extension lead. The coupling is found on the back of
the switch housing. Connect the extension cable to the cable strain relief.
Ensure that the mains voltage corresponds to voltage specified on the type
plate. Use only permissible extension cables. (For outside, these are extension
cable with a cable quality of H07 RN-F; 3*1.5 mm
electrician.

Assembling
We recommend the use of an RCD with a rated residual
current ≤ 30mA, as available from Westfalia.

Operation

Place the blades onto the ground at the location where you
wish to work the ground. Firmly hold the device in both
hands and press the safety button (A) on the switch
