Emptying the Collecting Bag

1. Disconnect the garden vac from power mains first
before emptying the collecting bag. Empty the
collecting bag when it is about two-thirds full.
2. Unhook the bag from the handle and undo the hook
and loop fastener on the extension rod. Then undo
the hook and loop fastener on the outlet pipe and pull
the bag off the pipe.
There is a zip on the rear side of the collecting bag.
You can empty the bag after undoing this zip.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always disconnect the garden vac from power mains before carrying out
any maintenance or cleaning work.
Check that the intake opening is clear before using the machine.
Hang the collecting bag up in a well-aired, dry room to make sure that the
textile thread does not suffer any damage.
The outlet pipe should be removed occasionally for visual inspection of the
pipe and the suction ducts of the vacuum. Any dirt etc. can be removed
with a suitable brush (e.g. bottle cleaner).
Never immerse the machine in liquids. Do not clean the housing with
aggressive detergents but only with a soft damp cloth.
Store the garden vac in a dry place.
Stop work immediately in the event of any technical malfunctions of the
garden vac. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. Have it repaired by
a qualified repair technician or contact the Service Department.
