Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
 Please read the manual completely and observe all safety notes
before operating the unit!
 Keep bystanders out of the working area. Do not
leave the grass trimmer unattended after use.
Do not operate the trimmer if children or pets are
close to the unit.
 Use the grass trimmer only for the intended purpose to cut grass around
flower beds and along sidewalks and trimming young shoots of leaves and
bushes that cannot be reached by the lawn mover.
 The grass trimmer is not designed for professional use.
 Do not expose the grass trimmer to rain. If possible, do not
operate the unit to cut wet grass.
 Before using, check the grass trimmer for any damaged parts and do not
use the grass trimmer if damages are detected.
 Wear suitable clothing and use sturdy shoes, safety
goggles and hearing protection.
 Make sure to have a safety stand when operating the grass trimmer. Do not
operate the grass trimmer with sandals or barefoot. Always wear sturdy
shoes and long trousers.
 Keep fingers, hair, clothing and similar objects away from the
blades. Careful handling the grass trimmer reduces the risk of
injury.
 Do not attempt to remove cut material from the cutting area or to hold
material to be cut during operation. A moment of inattention while operating
the grass trimmer may result in serious personal injury.
 When cutting grass, make sure the blades will not touch stones, metal,
wires etc. Always make sure metal parts, fences etc. cannot be caught in
the blades. This will lead to damage to the unit.
