Setting the Angle of the Auxiliary Handle

Press the PUSH-button (9) to select one
of 4 working positions of the auxiliary
handle.
1. Depress the PUSH button (9) and tilt
the motor forwards or backwards to
the desired working position.
2. Move the motor until it audibly snaps
into position.

Plant Guard

If you are using the grass trimmer in the vicinity of branches or stocks of trees,
always use the plant guard (11) in order to protect the trees.
1. Fold down the plant guard (11) to the
position 2 (working position). The
plant guard prevents the blades from
touching and damaging branches or
stocks of trees. Damaging the bark of
the plant might lead to plant death.
2. When not in use, fold up the plant
guard to the position 1 (parking posi-
tion).

Installing the Set of Wheels

1. Put the set of wheels (1) from above onto the corresponding guide above
the motor housing. Make sure it audibly snaps into position.
2. Make sure to attach the set of
wheels as shown on the picture on
the right. The bevelled part of the
set of wheels must point outwards.
3. To remove the set of wheels from
the device, press the PUSH-button
at the guide of the set of wheels
and pull it up from the device.
