Before first Use

Remove the car polisher and all accessories for the packing. Keep packaging
materials out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!

Scope of Delivery

The below mentioned parts belong to the set:
1 cordless Polishing Machine
2 Pieces 18 V NiCd Batteries
1 Battery Charger with 1 Power Supply Unit
1 Foam Pad, black
1 Foam Pad, white
1 Foam Pad, grey
1 Terry-cloth Bonnet,
1 Cotton Polishing Bonnet
1 Lambskin Polishing Bonnet
1 Carry Bag

Inserting and Removing the Battery

1. Place the battery (1) into the base under the handle of the machine. Make
sure the battery can be inserted into the base without resist. Do not force the
battery. If the battery is inserted as far as possible, the latch buttons snap
audible.
2. To remove the battery from the machine, press and keep the battery latch
buttons (2) pressed. Pull the battery out.

Charging the Battery

1. Before using the polishing machine, charge the battery. For the next time,
charge the battery only if the battery is spent, i.e. if the power obviously slows
down. Otherwise the battery cannot achieve full capacity. A new battery
achieves full capacity after several charging and discharging cycles.
2. Connect the power cord of the power supply unit (14) with a wall socket and
the battery charger (12). Insert the battery into the charger. The charging
indicator lamp (13) turns on red. Make sure the battery can be inserted
without resist. Do not force it. During charging the battery and the charger
become warm.
After charging the charger automatically switches off and the indicator lamp
turns on green. Remove the battery and disconnect the power supply unit
from power mains.
