Before first Use

Remove the polisher and all accessories for the packing. Keep packaging
materials out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!
Polishing dust particles can be harmful to your health.
Wear a dust protection mask if necessary and protect
your eyes with safety goggles. Always wear ear protection
while working with the polisher.

Assembling the Handle and the Hook and Loop Disc

Disconnect the machine from power mains before commencing any assembly
work!
According to application you can mount the handgrip (1) or the knob handle (4)
on the polisher in order to can hold the machine securely.
1. Remove the protection rubber caps (3) from the openings at the left and
right side. Insert one rubber cap into the middle opening on the transmis-
sion housing so the opening that is not used is sealed against dust and
dirt.
2. Attach the handgrip to the transmission housing and bolt then handgrip
down with the Allen head screws (2). Use the included Allen key to tighten
the screws.
Alternatively, you can use the included knob handle (4). Mount the handle
into the middle opening on the transmission housing. Only tighten the
knob handle by hand. In this case insert both rubber caps into the side-
wise openings.
3. For mounting the hook and loop disc (7) first press down the spindle lock
(14) to engage the spindle lock pin (15) and then screw the hook and loop
disc onto the pin by turning the disc clockwise. Lightly tighten the hook and
loop disc with delivered open-ended spanner (8).
To disassemble the hook and loo disc, press down the spindle lock and
turn the disc with your hand until the pin engages.
Attach the spanner on the hook and loop disc and turn the spanner
clockwise in order to loosen the disc from the spindle lock pin.
