(30) Output "MASTER"
The MASTER output signal is pending at these unsymmetrical stereo cinch outputs.
This signal is the mixed audio output signal of the mixer. Connect these jacks to
your amplifier.
(31) Fuse holder
(32) Mains cable
(33) Earth screw terminals
To prevent buzzing tones, an earth connection can be made through these screw
terminals between the mixer and the earth cable (mostly black cable with clamp-type
socket) of the record player.

Setting up the device

Make sure when mounting on a desk with other equipment that
there is sufficient ventilation.
Never place the product on soft surfaces such as, for example, a
carpet or a bed. This hinders the heat extraction from the device
and can lead to overheating.
Do not drill or screw any additional screws into the housing of the
mixer to fasten the device. This can damage the device.
When setting up the device, make sure that it has a secure footing
and is on a stable surface as, if the mixer fell down, persons could
be injured.
When setting up the device, make sure that the connection cable
is not be pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
Always lay the cable so that no-one can stumble over it or get
caught up in it. There is a risk of injury!
When selecting a place to set up the device, make sure that direct,
intensive sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat, cold and moisture are
avoided.
No devices with strong electric or magnetic fields may be located
in the vicinity of the mixer as these can influence the mixer.
Such devices are: transformers, motors, cordless telephones,
radios, PCs, etc.

Due to the multitude of paints and polishes used for furniture, the base
of the device might leave a visible mark on the furniture on which it is
placed caused by a chemical reaction. The device should therefore
not be placed on valuable furniture surfaces without suitable protec-
tion.
The mixer is suitable for installation in a desk and as a table device. For fastening
when mounting on a desk, there are the 4 fastening holes in the upper covering
board.

Connection

Before connection, disconnect the mixer and all other devices
which are to be connected with the mixer from the mains voltage
(pull plug-in power unit or mains plug out of the socket).
For connecting the cinch in and outputs, use only shielded cinch
cables suitable for this purpose. For connecting the microphone
input, please only use suitable microphone cable. The use of oth-
er cable may cause interference.
To avoid distortion or mismatching that may damage the device,
only reproduction devices with a cinch output may be connected
to the cinch inputs of the mixer. Only devices with the same inputs
may be connected to the cinch outputs of the mixer.
For this, observe also the connection values in the section "Tech-
nical Data".

Connecting the inputs

The following applies for all cinch inputs:
The white cinch jack of the mixer is the input for the left channel.
The red cinch jack of the mixer is the input for the right channel.
Inputs CH2 LINE (25) and CH3 LINE (27)
Two LINE inputs are available. You can connect your tuner, your CD player, your
MP3 player etc. to these stereo cinch inputs.
The LINE inputs are not suitable for record players.
Inputs CH1 PHONO (23), CH2 PHONO (24) and CH3 PHONO (26)
Three PHONO inputs are available. You can connect your record player to these
stereo cinch inputs. The PHONO inputs have been conceived for record players with
a magnet system.
No high-level sources such as tuners, CD players or similar may be connected
here.
