With this subwoofer, you have acquired a product which has been constructed to the
present state of the art.
This subwoofer is a Class II appliance and is also radio-interference sup-
pressed. This product meets the requirements of valid European and national
directives. The appliance has obtained a certificate of conformity and the man-
ufacturer has submitted the appropriate declarations and documents.
To maintain this status and ensure safe operation, you as the user must observe
these Operating Instructions!

Correct use
The active subwoofer is used to amplify audio signals from a home hi-fi system into
audible soundwaves through its built-in loudspeaker.
The subwoofer must only be connected to low-level audio outputs or loudspeaker
outputs of audio equipment.
The power supply unit must only be connected to a 230 V/50 Hz (10/16 A) AC sup-
ply.Use is only permitted in enclosed rooms, i.e. not outdoors. Contact with damp-
ness, e.g. in a bathroom or similar rooms must be avoided.Use other than as previ-
ously described will lead to damage to the subwoofer and, furthermore, is
associated with dangers such as short-circuit, fire, etc.
