Never operate the subwoofer unattended.
Comply with the safety instructions and operating instructions of the other equip-
ment to which the subwoofer is connected.
If you are unclear about the correct connection or if you have any questions
which are not answered by the Operating Instructions, please get in touch with
our Technical Information Department or a specialist.
Functional description
The active subwoofer operates on the bass-reflex principle.
A 200 mm chassis radiates sound in the deep bass range.
The subwoofer can be driven by a preamplifier signal via the chinch socket or be dri-
ven directly by an amplifier output via the loudspeaker inputs.
The subwoofer has an automatic switch-on facility, i.e. it switches on automatically
when there is a signal on the chinch sockets or the loudspeaker terminals.
The volume of the subwoofer and its crossover frequency are adjustable.
Commissioning
To guarantee proper commissioning, these Operating Instruc-
tions, including the safety instructions, must be thoroughly read
and noted before using the subwoofer!
Setting up
Do not set up the subwoofer in the immediate vicinity of display
screens, such as television sets or computer monitors. There is a
danger that the magnetic field of the subwoofer will distort the
picture.
To obtain the best possible sound, please carry out the following setting up instruc-
tions as carefully as possible in the room:

Après avoir débranché l'appareil (retirer la fiche hors de la prise de courant !), utiliser
un tournevis approprié et tourner avec précautions le capuchon du fusible au niveau
du porte-fusible (8) avec le fusible défectueux.
Extraire le fusible défectueux et le remplacer par un fusible de même type.
Revisser ensuite avec précautions le capuchon du fusible avec le fusible neuf dans le
porte-fusible (8).
Une fois cette opération achevée, rebrancher l'appareil et le mettre en marche.
Nettoyage
Pour le nettoyage de l'extérieur du sub-woofer, utiliser uniquement un chiffon doux
et sec ou un pinceau. N'utiliser en aucun cas de produits de nettoyage agressifs ou
de produits chimiques sous peine d'endommager les surfaces des boîtiers.
Les surfaces des membrane sont fragiles. Ne jamais les toucher.
Rejet des éléments usés
Si le sub-woofer est devenu inutilisable, il convient alors de procéder à son rejet
conformément aux prescriptions légales en vigueur.
Dépannage
Le sub-woofer actif ATV-200SW est un produit à la pointe du développement tech-
nique et bénéficiant d'une grande sécurité de fonctionnement.
Des problèmes ou des dérangements peuvent néanmoins se produire.
Ci-après figure un certain nombre de procédures permettant un dépannage le cas
échéant :
