metal objects that could cause bridging of the contacts. A short circuit
between the battery contacts may result in burns or fire.
• Liquid may leak from the battery if used incorrectly. Avoid contact with
it. In case of accidental contact, rinse with water. If the liquid gets into
your eyes, seek additional medical attention. Leaking battery fluid can
cause skin irritation or burns.
• Switch off the device when not in use. Note that the device is still very
hot after it has been switched off. There is a risk of burns and fire!
• Be careful when using the device near flammable or easily fusible
materials, such as plastics or glass. Do not point the device at one and
the same spot for a long time. Never point the switched-on device at
people, animals, plants, flammable objects or liquids.
• Do not use the device in an explosive atmosphere.
• Be aware that heat may be conducted to combustible materials that are
covered.
• Be aware that toxic fumes may be generated when stripping paint. Use
respiratory protection if necessary and ensure adequate ventilation.
• Use only original accessories.
• If damage occurs to the device, stop using it and have it repaired by a
specialist or contact our customer service department. Do not disas-
semble the device and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
