General safety notes
WARNING
Danger of death from electric shock
Touching exposed current-carrying parts can lead to severe injuries or death.
▶ Interrupt the power supply before working on electrical components.
ATTENTION
Possible damage to electrical components and assemblies caused by electrostatic
discharges
▶ Wear an ESD wristband and ensure correct earthing.
▶ Use only originally packaged spare parts in ESD bags.
▶ Do not remove the spare parts out of the ESD bag until immediately prior to
installation.
▶ Package replaced components and assemblies in an ESD bag immediately after
removal.
The inside of the device has sharp edges. Carry out the maintenance measures with
the necessary caution.
Incorrect maintenance work or repairs can result in damage or malfunctions.
• Use a tested ESD wristband (electrical resistance 1 M Ω).
• Only use original spare parts when making repairs.
• Do not modify the product or add any additional modules.
• Protect components against electrostatic discharge.
Components vulnerable to electrostatic discharge (ESD) are supplied in antistatic ESD
bags. This ESD bag has a conductive surface which prevents electrostatic voltages from
building up during transport.
Components vulnerable to ESD may be removed from their packaging and installed
only by individuals who are wearing an ESD wristband correctly.
