Now the model is finished
However, some important points still need to be done in the workshop: Adjusting the correct centre of gravity and the EWD (angle of
attack difference). If these two settings are correct, there will be no problems when flying and especially when flying in. Successful
flying-in is always a question of preparation. The centre of gravity and the EWD were first determined theoretically and confirmed
by the tests carried out during the trial phase. Thus, a CG of 95 mm - measured at the wing root from the wing leading edge - was
determined.
The ready-to-fly fuselage centre of gravity without tailplane and wings is 68 mm.
MPX # 693054 this can be measured exactly. An EWD of 1° has proven to be correct.
Tip: To polish the surface of the GP-14 Velo we recommend car polish with wax.
Stay the same with the settings.
The following rudder deflection sizes have been flown and have proven themselves with several model pilots and during testing. Adopt
these for the time being; you will probably not want to change them again.
Once the adjustments are complete, the servo covers can be attached to the surfaces with Uhu Por or Tesa.
Rudder settings
The rudder deflections are measured at the lowest point of the rudder and are given in millimetres.
