4.2.2 High-pressure limiter
Actuate the mobile cut-off device and safeguard this state.
The internal control and supply voltage has now been com-
pletely interrupted. Voltage is still present between the supply
points and the cut-off mechanism – see the circuit diagram!
At expansion valve -M7, remove the coil with the connected ca-
ble.
 Remove plug –N0-J17 (coil of 4-way reversing valve).

To test the high-pressure limiter (-F4.1), disconnect the

wires from the high-pressure monitor (-F4.2) and electri-
cally bridge the now free terminal points (terminal box in
the compressor compartment). To do this, connect or
short-circuit contacts -X20 / F4. 1/1 and -X20 / F4 2/2.
See Cap. 5.6 on page 25 "Excerpt of circuit diagram".

 To perform the test, the system must be brought to high
pressure. To do this, interrupt the heating water flow by
closing a shut-off device in the heating/cooling water cir-
cuit.
 For details of how to short-circuit contacts –N0-J22/NO6
with
-N0-J22/C6 and -N0-J23/NO7 with -N0-J23/C7 of con-
troller -N0 using the plug, please see "Excerpt of circuit di-
agram".
Restore the power supply to the heat pump using the mobile
cut-off device.
Once the control device has initialised

(approx. 1-2 min), select the "Inputs/outputs" menu by
pressing the  or  keys on the control panel and confirm
with . The contactor -KO is energized and the compres-
sors start immediately.




The displayed pressure "pC" is used to test the high-pressure
limiter and high-pressure monitor safety equipment as de-
scribed below.
 Upon reaching the limiter's switch-off value, contactor –K0
drops out.
The compressor groups are switched off
 Read off and note down the switching value on the control
panel (connected to -N0-J15).
After successfully testing the function of the heat pump,

switch off again using the mobile cut-off device and safe-
guard this state.

Remove electrical link cable between -X20 / F4.1/1 and -

X20 / F4.2/2 and reconnect wires.
Close the terminal box correctly.

 Press the reset button on the high-pressure limiter.
