Use a different memory card/hard disk.
Data cannot be written to the memory card
Check write protection of the memory card; the memory card has a small slide switch for write protection.
If the slide switch is very easy to move, it can happen that the slide switch moves while the memory card is insert-
ed into the monitor/DVR, causing unintentional enabling of write protection.
Recordings can't be saved
Is the memory card full? Insert a new, empty memory card.
If necessary, enable automatic overwrite of the memory card. The oldest recordings are overwritten with the
current recordings and are lost.
If overwrite is disabled, new recordings cannot be saved if the memory card is full.
Use the corresponding function of the monitor/DVR to format the memory card/hard disk, as described in section
12.4. All data on the memory card will be lost. The formatting process may take some time depending on the
memory card size.
The monitor/DVR only supports the FAT32 file format (NTFS is not supported). Be sure to format the memory card/
hard disk before using it for the first time.
Make sure that you use a fast memory card (at least "Class 4"). This ensures that the memory card write speed is
sufficient to ensure continuous video data recording.
Whistling sound/feedback noises from the monitor/DVR speaker
The wireless camera's microphone is too close to the monitor/DVR (e.g. during a function test). Keep a greater
distance when testing.
Turn down the volume on the monitor/DVR.
Recordings cannot be played on the computer
Use a different piece of software to play the recording.
Network connection is not possible
Check the network settings for the monitor/DVR.
If necessary, consult your network administrator.
Typical home networks have IP address assigned automatically ("Dynamic IP"); corporate networks, on the other
hand, have a fixed IP address assigned to each device (which can only be assigned to a single device).
Check the network cable or the connector for damage.
Check your router network settings.
