14 Operation
14.1 General operation
14.1.1 General information on operating the monitor/DVR
Just like a PC, the monitor/DVR is operated with the mouse. Use the left mouse button to select menu items or
confirm inputs.
Use the right mouse button to enter the settings menu in the main display (where camera images are displayed).
Use the right mouse button to close the active menu window.
14.1.2 General information on operating the cameras
On each display with a camera image, the date and time are shown at the top right of the image.
The camera name is displayed at the bottom left.
A red camera symbol is displayed at the bottom right when a recording is in progress. To the right of it, you can
see the Wi-Fi signal strength indicator (if the camera is connected to the monitor/DVR via Wi-Fi). Both indicators
will be displayed even if the camera is not highlighted.
If you move the cursor over a camera image and click on it, the camera will be highlighted in a green frame. A
microphone symbol and a speaker symbol will also appear.
The speaker is enabled automatically and transmits signals from the wireless camera microphone.
To disable the speaker, click on the symbol.
To deactivate the speaker permanently, open the camera settings (right mouse button + second button from the
top) and then click on the speaker symbol for the corresponding camera. The blue symbol turns red with "x" in a
brief while. This means that the function is deactivated permanently.
Clicking and holding the left mouse button on the microphone symbol, the audio signal from the camera's micro-
phone is output to the monitor's speaker.
Double-clicking on a camera image with the left mouse button activates the full-screen mode. This mode is only
possible in display modes 1, 2, 4, 8.2, and 9.
In display modes 6 and 8.1, only the large image changes to full-screen mode by double-clicking. Double-clicking
on one of the smaller displays shows the image in an enlarged mode.
You can drag a camera to another position at any time. You can also change the channel. Hold down the left
mouse button while dragging with the mouse.
14.2 Playing back and managing recordings
Click on the right mouse button and then select the fourth item from the top with a play symbol in a circle in the
menu that appears.
An additional window will open. In this window, select the desired playback mode on the left and then the channel
and time on the right. The topmost item is the normal playback mode that is selected by default. Other modes are
used to search for faces in the recorded images (last item), activate a synchronised playback, etc.
You can also select multiple channels by clicking on them, with the selected channels highlighted in blue.
After selecting the desired channels, click on "OK" or on another day. Your selection will take effect, and the
window will close.
You can change the desired day to the right of the video image at any time.
Below you will find the selection of channels.
Below the channels you will find a button with two arrows. You can subsequently select a different playback time.
With playback paused, you can select or deselect the different recording modes, e.g. alarm or manual, at the
bottom in the middle.
