The rated (nominal) values can be found on the type plate.
Nominal input data relate to:
an ambient temperature of -20 °C to 40 °C
maximum temperature of the medium 40 °C
continuous operation S1 and
rated supply voltage
The connecting cables are designed for rated operation
where they are:
separately routed,
permanently submerged and/or attached to surfaces
and/or passing through air, and
at a maximum ambient temperature of 40 °C
If the routing and/or ambient temperature of the connect-
ing cables differs from this, the standards and regulations
applicable at the installation site must be observed. If the
type of operation and/or rated power supply is different,
the tolerances specified in EN 60034 must be observed
and the installation adjusted in accordance with the stan-
dards and regulations applicable at the installation site.
Note:
Conditions at the installation site must conform to all de-
tails on the rating plate. In the case of uncertainty, the
manufacturer must be consulted before commissioning.

3.3.2. Motor
The three-phase asynchronous motor consists of a sta-
tor and the motor shaft with the rotor set. The lead for
supplying power is designed for the maximum mechan-
ical power in accordance with the characteristic curve or
data plate of the pump. The cable entries and the lead
are sealed watertight against the conveyed medium. The
shaft bearings are robust, maintenance-free and perma-
nently greased roller bearings. All motors are also avail-
able in explosion-proof design in accordance with ATEX
Ex II 2 G EExd.

3.3.3. Monitoring systems
The unit is fitted with various safety monitoring devices.
The following Table gives an overview of the available op-
tions.
Motor type Motor version
ET...
Motor in midflow, thermal monitoring for winding,
monitoring of the oil chamber sealing
ET... EX
Motor in midflow, thermal monitoring for win-
ding, monitoring of the oil chamber sealing,
explosion-proof
Temperature sensors
All pumps are fitted with a set of temperature sensors in
the motor windings.
In pumps of standard design, the connections of the tem-
perature sensors are brought out via the connecting ca-
ble and are to be connected via the T1 and T3 conductor
ends of the connecting cable in the switch cabinet, so that
the motor is switched on again automatically after it has
cooled down.
Instead of the standard sensors, explosion-proof designs
have a set of temperature sensors with a higher triggering
temperature, that are to be connected via the conductor
ends T1 and T2 of the connecting cable so that, after they
have been triggered, a manual reset via a special protec-
tive combination in the switchgear is necessary.
The set of temperature sensors must be connected in the
switchgear so that it shuts off the switchgear in the event
of overheating.
