Starter battery B1

The starter battery of the vehicle, also referred to as B1, is also connected to the 12 V power supply. It is
located under the floor mat of the driver seat. It is charged directly by the engine alternator.
It supplies all basic functions of your vehicle (headlights, indicators, windscreen wipers, etc.), but also
certain appliances in the living room (refrigerator during travel, if necessary).
More information can be found in the operating manual for the base vehicle.

Living room battery B2

The living room battery of the vehicle, also referred to as B2, supplies 12 V power to the connected con-
suming units, i.e. the fresh water pump, interior/exterior lighting, electric step, heating control, 12 V inte-
rior socket and refrigerator. When the 230 V power supply is connected, the B2 living room battery is
automatically charged by the battery charger. When the vehicle is in motion, the B2 battery is charged by
the alternator of the base vehicle. It is located in the bench seat compartment.
CAUTION
Risk of deep discharge of the batteries!
Check the state of charge of the batteries regularly on the control panel. If this drops below
40 %, there is a risk of deep discharge and therefore of permanent damage to the battery.
If the vehicle will not be used for extended periods of time, the 12-V consuming units must
be disconnected from the living room battery B2 with the battery disconnect switch.
Please ensure that the 230-V power supply is connected when temperatures drop below
5 °C. If this is not possible, ensure that the waste water tank heating* is not switched on,
which would cause it to discharge the living room battery B2 due to its power consumption.
