Capacity Label Instructions

The regulations in some locations require that the scale capacity and increment be
shown on the front of the terminal, near the display. To satisfy this requirement, a
blue capacity label is included with the terminal that must be completed and
adhered to the front overlay.
The capacity label provides space for the Max, min, and e information for which
the scale is programmed. The IND131 and IND331 terminals only support one
weighing range so the unused portion of the label may be cut off with scissors,
leaving only the part indicated by the box in Figure 2-62. Written information must
be legible and a minimum of 2mm or 0.08 in. in height. A permanent marker
should be used for this information.

Clean any oil or other contaminants from the area of the overlay or enclosure
where the capacity label will be added. Peel the backing from the label and adhere
it to the overlay in a location near the display or another location acceptable to the
local regulations. Figure 2-63 shows suggested positions for the DIN – the label
should be mounted so that it is legible once the terminal is installed. Figure 2-64
shows the location for the harsh and Figure 2-65 for the panel-mount version.
