What? How?

For oil change use an appropriate collecting container
with sufficient capacity.

Unscrew the screw from the drain hole. To do this, dis-
mantle the change gear quadrant.

Unscrew the screw from the filler hole.

Close the drain hole if no more oil drains.

Fill up to the middle of the measuring mark of the sight
glass at the filling opening using a suitable funnel
Mobilgear 627 or a comparable oil.
Oil change
Clean the jaw guides approx. every 100 operating hours.
Depending on the operating conditions, carry out a complete
cleaning approx. every 500 operating hours.

Leave the lathe chuck on the machine.

Clean the jaws (do not use compressed air) and then
Clean and re-lubri-
cate unscrew them. Clean thoroughly with petroleum or ben-
zine.

Re-grease with Molykote TP 42.

Pay attention to the correct order of the jaws when insert-
ing them.
