The cut specimen usually falls down on the cutting table, but with very thin
specimens and low cutting speed the specimen may stick on the side of the
cut-off wheel.
If the spacer screw has been adjusted correctly, the spindle will have
stopped and the lamp TABLE STOP OR OVER LOAD (fig. 1.2) will be lit.
Otherwise the motor is switched off by turning the SPEED knob (fig. 1.1) to
OFF. Pull the cutting table back and lock it with the hasp (fig. 1.10).
If no more cutting is to be made, the cut-off wheel should be taken off and
kept as prescribed in sect. 6.1.
Remove the protective screen after use in order to avoid that enclosed
Notice that the motor cannot rotate until the SPEED knob has been OFF,
when the motor has been stopped by the stop screw or by the thermal fuse.
