Electrical connection
Connect the submersible sensor to terminals 68 (+) and 23 (-).
In the explosion-proof version, the submersible sensor is con-
nected via a safety barrier.
The white lead (+) is connected to terminal 4, and the other lead
to terminal 3.
Single unit. Connection to the AD / AD...X pump control:
1/2 base load
-> 21/23
3/4 alarm
-> 27/28
Duplex unit: Connection to the BD / BD...X pump control:
1/2 base load
-> 21/23
3/4 alarm
-> 27/28
5/6 peak load
-> 24/25
NOTICE! All screw terminals must be securely tightened.
Commissioning
After installation and the electrical connection has been com-
pleted, the sensor needs to be calibrated, i.e. the zero point
must be set. The probe must not be in water when this is done.
Select the system settings with the "arrow buttons" and press
-OK-
The item "Probe Zero Point" appears. Now press -OK- again.
You will then be asked to enter a password. The factory default
setting is "0000". Each of the four digits must be confirmed
with -OK-. This means that in the case of the factory default
setting, for example, you will have to press -OK- four times. You
are now in the relevant sub-item.
After confirming with -OK-, the sensor will be calibrated. After
you have suspended the probe in the waste water again, the HD
04 is ready for operation.

SOFTWARE MENU

The level control is configured on the control display.
The menu items, settings and values are selected with the "ar-
row buttons" ▲ ▼ and confirmed by pressing the -OK- button.
Use the -ESC- button to exit the menu.
From the standard display, you can use the arrow buttons ▲
▼ to reach the three menus "Display", "System settings" and
"Level settings".

The switch-on point is lower than the switch-off point. Correct

MAIN MENU -OK-
Use one of the arrow buttons ▲ ▼ to reach the main menu.
SYSTEM SETTINGS -OK-
You can now select various items using the ▲ ▼ buttons. When
you press -OK-, you will be asked to enter a password first.
The factory default setting is "0000". Each of the four digits
must be confirmed with -OK-. This means that in the case of
the factory default setting, for example, you will have to press
-OK- four times. You are now in the relevant sub-item.
▲ ▼ Probe Zero Point -OK-
The zero point is set here to 0 cmWC. The probe must not be in
water when you press -OK- and while the sensor is being cali-
brated.
▲ ▼ Full Scale Probe -OK-
Factory default setting: 400 cm. This value only needs to be
changed if a submersible sensor with a different specification
is integrated at a later date.
▲ ▼ Height of Probe -OK-
Factory default setting: 0 cm. This value only needs to be
changed if the sensor is to work with absolute heights instead
of with relative measured values. The distance between the
lower edge of the sensor and the sump floor is set here.
▲ ▼ Max Value Reset -OK-
The highest level attained in the sump is saved. This menu can
be used to reset this value to zero.
▲ ▼ Reset to factory Default
You can carry out a reset here. The level control is reset to the
factory default settings.
Notice! All existing values will be overwritten.
▲ ▼ Change Password -OK-
All four numeric characters are assigned new values using the
arrow buttons, and each character must be confirmed with
-OK-.
Notice! You will not be prompted to confirm the change.
Once the fourth character has been confirmed with -OK-, the
new password will be automatically saved. The new password
can be noted in this instruction manual:
