4.2 Settings
4.2.1 Adjusting height
Please pull the yellow handle (fig. A, item 1) on the back of the child restraint
system to adjust the height. You will now be able to move the headrest up or
down and into the right position. Afterwards, lock the yellow handle in place,
making sure that you hear it click.
After shifting adjustable parts on the kiddy contour, make sure
they are safely locked in place by lightly pulling on the adjusted
part.
4.2.2 Adjustable headrests
The kiddy contour provides the most protection for side collisions thanks to
its large headrests.
To ensure that children also have a good and comfortable view, the side
wings of the headrests can be swung outwards. A folding mechanism (fig. A,
item 4) ensures that the child is ideally protected in the event of a collision.
If the child would like to sleep, he or she can turn the headrests to the inside
on their own.
To open them up again, you must press the side wings on the headrests as
if you were moving them to the inside. Then simultaneously hold down the
red rectangular handle (behind the headrests) until the wings are open wide
enough (fig. A, item.3/item.4).
