Engine does not start.

Engine speed does not increase.
Engine does not stop.

hen the engine does not start a ter warm-up operation
there is no abnormality ound or the check items, open the throttle by about 1 3 and start the engine.

Probable cause (malfunction)

ailure to operate primer pump.
ow pulling speed o starter rope.

ncorrect choke position.
Clogged uel lter.
Bent or blocked uel tube.

Contaminated spark plug.

Starter rope cannot be pulled, or no

Remedy
Set the - switch to S A .
ush 7 to 10 times.

Set to C SE cold start .
Set to EN warm start .
Clean.
Straighten or replace uel tube.
eteriorated uel makes starting more di cult.
eplace with new one. ecommended
replacement 1 month
Set throttle le er rom medium speed to high
speed, and pull starter handle until engine
starts.
engine will not start still, remo e spark plug,
make electrode dry, and reassemble them as
they originally are. hen, start as speci ed.
Attach securely.
Clean.
Adjust clearance.
