Step
1 Start the "Set PG/PC Interface" configuration program
• Start the program with the "Start" menu of the taskbar (Start > Simatic > SIMATIC
NET >PB SOFTNET DP > Set PG/PC Interface, or Start > Simatic > SIMATIC
NET > PB SOFTNET S7 > Set PG/PC Interface)
or
• using the Control Panel (Start > Settings > Control Panel> Set PG/PC Interface)
2 Click the "Select..." button
3 Select the "CP 5511" in the "Selection" list box.
4 Click the "Install -- >" button to install the device.
5 Check the assignment of the access point (for example CP_L2_1:) to the interface parameter
assignment (see Sections 7.2 and 7.3).
Then click the "Close" button.
Shut down your computer and start Windows NT or Windows 2000 Professional again.

Follow the instructions for configuring the interface in Sections 7.2 and 7.3.
Before removing the card, communication must be terminated.
