5 Connections
5.1 Camera / Recorder
To connect the recorder, connect the 3 .5 mm jack LINE OUT
(1) of the receiver to the audio input of the recorder . The
jack has 3 poles so that both channels receive the mono
signal when it is connected to a stereo input . Depending on
the input jack of the recorder, use the cable with the 3-pole
plug (fig . 3) or the cable with the 4-pole plug (fig . 4) (e . g . for
connection to a smartphone) .
5.2 Tie clip microphone
To use the tie clip microphone provided (fig . 2) instead of the
integrated microphone (1) of the transmitter, connect the tie
clip microphone to the transmitter via the 3 .5 mm jack (8) .
5.3 Headphones
To monitor the audio signal received, headphones can be
connected to the receiver via the 3 .5 mm jack
(8) . The jack
has 3 poles so that both channels receive the mono signal
when stereo headphones are connected .
6 Operation
6.1 Switching on /off
To switch on the devices, keep the button
(5) pressed
respectively for approx . 3 s until the LED PAIR (2) lights blue .
If the LED of the receiver flashes blue, this means that the
transmitter is still switched off or is out of range . After switch-
ing on the transmitter, the LED of the receiver flashes more
slowly at first during channel tuning with the transmitter
and then lights permanently . Now the system is ready for
operation . If the LED "LO /CHG" flashes red during operation,
charge the battery soon (chapter 4) .
