14 Troubleshooting
If the device does not operate as intended, check the table below for information.
Symptom
The device cannot be switched on. The device is not being supplied with power.
No sound can be heard.
The display does not switch on.
Poor reception via DAB+ / FM.
The device cannot be operated.
Bad Bluetooth connection and
drop-outs
No sound from the external input
(AUX).
Device automatically switches to
standby
If the malfunction has not been resolved, even after performing the checks
described, please contact the Technical Hotline.

Possible cause/remedy
Connect the power supply unit correctly to the
socket and to the device.
Increase the volume.
Disconnect the device from the power supply
and then reconnect it.
Fully extend the antenna. Change the position
of the antenna or the DIGITRADIO 4 C.
Disconnect the device from the power supply
and then reconnect it.
Do not exceed the maximum range for
Bluetooth of 10 m.
Is the external device connected correctly?
Has AUX been selected as the input source?
Has playback been started on the external
device and has the
output volume been set?
The auto-standby function automatically
switches the device to standby after approx.
15 minutes in the following circumstances:
No sound is played
No device is connected via Bluetooth when
the device is in Bluetooth mode
Volume is muted.
