Troubleshooting
Problem
The drive motor does not start.
The blade motor does not start.
The machine does not start.
The machine vibrates abnormally.
The cutting height is uneven.
The machine does not discharge or it
discharges improperly.
Possible Cause
1. The drive-mode switch is in the
N
position.

2. The parking brake is engaged.
3. The brake pedal is engaged.
4. The traction-control pedal is engaged.
5. The blade motor is blocked.
6. The drive motor is blocked.
7. Battery charge is low.

3. The blade motor is blocked.
4. Battery charge is low.
1. The controller or motor is damaged.
2. A battery is damaged.
1. The cutting blade(s) is/are bent or
unbalanced.
2. The blade mounting bolt is loose.
3. The blade spindle is bent.
4. The motor mount is loose or worn.
1. A cutting blade(s) is/are not sharp.
2. A cutting blade(s) is/are bent.
3. The underside of the mower deck is
dirty.
4. The tire pressure is incorrect.
5. A blade spindle is bent.
1. The grass is too heavy or tall.
2. The grass is too wet.

Corrective Action
1. Move the drive-mode switch to the
F
or R
position.
ORWARD
EVERSE
2. Disengage the parking brake.
3. Release the brake pedal.
4. Release the traction-control pedal.
5. Turn off the machine and clean debris,
or wait until the controller automatically
unlocks after 5 seconds.
6. Remove debris or obstacles from the
drive motor.
7. Charge the batteries.
1. Move the drive-mode switch to the
F
position.
ORWARD
2. Disengage the parking brake.
3. Turn off the machine and clean debris,
or wait until the controller automatically
unlocks after 5 seconds.
4. Charge the batteries.
1. Shut off the machine and start it again
after 5 seconds. If the machine does
not start after several cycles, replace
the controller.
2. Replace the battery.
1. Install new cutting blade(s).
2. Tighten the blade mounting bolt.
3. Contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
4. Contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
1. Sharpen the blade(s).
2. Install a new cutting blade(s).
3. Clean the underside of the mower
deck.
4. Adjust the tire pressure.
5. Contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
1. Mow on the highest height of cut; then
mow at the desired height.
2. Wait until the lawn is dry.
