- Screw in the screws (3).

- Pour about 0.9 kg of oil into the oil
tank through the hole (8).

- Reassemble the dipstick (1) by
screwing it.
NOTE: For the type of oil to use, see the
"Refueling" paragraph.
NOTE: Clean any oil spilled on the parts
with a rag after the engine and the exhaust
system have cooled down.
- Start the engine and let it idle for
several minutes, checking that there
are no oil leaks. If there is an oil
leak, stop the engine immediately
and look for the cause.
- Turn off the engine, check the oil
level and correct it if necessary.
- Reset the maintenance interval as
described in the "Digital instrument"
paragraph.

NOTE: Check the coolant level with a cold
engine.
- Place the motorcycle on a level sur-
face, in a vertical position raised on
the central stand.
- Remove the cover (1) of the expan-
sion tank (2).
